Product Description
The structure of the GYDTS optical cable is that the 4, 6, 8, and 12 core optical fiber ribbon is inserted into a loose sleeve made of high modulus material, and the loose sleeve is filled with a waterproof compound. The center of the cable core is a metal reinforced core. For some optical cables with some cores, a layer of polyethylene (PE) shall be squeezed outside the metal reinforced core. The loose sleeve and packing rope are twisted around the central reinforcing core to form a compact and circular cable core, with gaps in the cable core filled with water blocking filler. Double-sided plastic-coated steel strip (PSP) is wrapped longitudinally and then extruded with polyethylene sheath into cable.
