Layer stranded unarmored optical cable (GYTA)

The product description

The fibers, 250μm, are positioned in a loose tube made of a high modulus plastic. The tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound. At the center of the cable core is a metal reinforcement core. For certain types of fiber optic cables, a layer of polyethylene (PE) is added to the metal reinforcement core. The loose tubing (and filling rope) is stranded around the central strengthening core into a compact and circular cable core, and the gaps in the cable core are filled with water-blocking filler. The cable is wrapped longitudinally with plastic-aluminum tape (PL) and then extruded with polyethylene sheath.

Product features

· Excellent mechanical properties and temperature characteristics

· The loose casing material itself has good water resistance and high strength

· The tube is filled with special ointment to provide critical protection to the optical fiber

· Specially designed tight cable structure effectively prevents casing retraction

· PE sheath has excellent uv radiation resistance

· Adopt the following measures to ensure the cable waterproof performance:

- Single steel wire center strengthening core

- The loose casing is filled with a special waterproof compound

- Complete cable core filling

- Coated with plastic-aluminium strip (APL) moisture barrier

Product standards

GYTA optical cables comply with YD/T 901-2001 and IEC 60794-1 standards.
